Remote Risk and Fraud Manager, Europe

RISK

  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert for any risks identified during the bonus governance process.
  • Analyses transactions to prevent abuse of client’s systems & fraudulent activities.
  • Audits and reports on any findings within the various tools at his disposal.
  • Mitigates risks and removes blockers by sourcing and utilizing internal expertise & tools to support an ‘anonymous’ brand to its fullest effect.

FRAUD

  • Evaluates transactional data to determine if any suspicious customer behavior before or after a transaction occurred.
  • Supports customers through available communication channels and responds regarding their profile status/security.
  • Customer identity verification, when necessary.
  • Evaluates multi-accounting and other fraud vectors associated with ‘anonymous’ or ‘skinny-registrations’.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Is responsible for defining & implementing the department’s strategy in line with the company’s vision.
  • Provides ad-hoc, weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Communicates with the technical department to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establishes objectives for the development of the department and follows their evolution and fulfillment.
  • Leads and manages the team including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and recruitment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A few years industry and management experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel.
  • Advanced understanding of all Operational Control functions, policies, and systems.
  • Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
